The following people are considered at increased risk of hepatitis A:

Travelling or working in areas with high incidences of hepatitis A.

Lack of safe water and poor sanitation.

Living with another person infected with hepatitis A.

HIV positive patients.

Usage of syringes for illicit/illegal drug abuse.

Blood clotting related problems.

Men who have sexual relation with other men.

Oral-anal contact.
